The structure of our charity

• We are a small local charity and have a low financial turnover of less than £5,000 per year. We are therefore formally categorised as an unregistered charity.
• We have 4 levels of volunteers overall. Trustees, group co-ordinators, volunteers and vulnerable volunteers. As we are a small charity some people cover more than one role.
• We have 4 Foundation Trustees who have been with the project since its concept and 8 other volunteers undergoing training ready for our launch in October 2017. All new volunteers will be given training to ensure our ethos and professionalism are consistent. We are looking for more volunteers, could that be you? • We have a formal constitution, aims and objectives, job descriptions, and much more. We operate a safe recruitment policy as we will be working with adults at a vulnerable time in their lives. All volunteers will have an enhanced DBS certificate.
• At our first AGM we will be recruiting more Trustees ideally bringing us up to 8 in number. Are you interested? See our recruitment page.
